Lauren GRUBAUGH Thomas
Hello and welcome! I'm the Rev. Lauren Grubaugh Thomas — an Episcopal priest, a lover of words that breathe life, and a nurturer of faithful dissidents. It brings me joy to accompany communities that are dreaming of a world free from oppression, and I welcome opportunities to strategize and act together toward making that world our own. In my life and work, I'm committed to the liberative practices of holy curiosity, solidarity storytelling, and courageous dialogue across difference.
Since 2023, I have served as the church planting priest of Holy Companion Episcopal Church, a joyful, intentionally intergenerational, justice-oriented, new faith community in Sterling Ranch, Colorado.
I am also a Co-Founder of Palestinian Anglicans and Clergy Allies, and serve on the Steering Committee of the Clergy Emergency League.
Along with my husband and our twin daughters, we are making our home in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains, with gratitude and respect to the Arapaho, Cheyenne and Ute peoples who stewarded these lands for generations.
